Gulf Le Mans
The light blue and orange stripe, framed in black, is directly inspired by Gulf Oil’s legendary racing team from the late 1960s to the mid-1970s. Steve McQueen drives a Porsche 917 in the cult classic film *Le Mans*, painted in Gulf Oil’s iconic racing colors. These Gulf colors are still seen on racetracks around the world and remain closely associated with Porsche – a brand McQueen himself was very fond of.
